Description
The Tehama County Transportation Commission and Tehama County Transit Agency Board are soliciting Statements of Qualifications from qualified architectural, engineering, and project management firms for the Red Bluff and Cottonwood Bus Shelter Installation Project. The project is anticipated to be funded in whole or in part through state transit funds made available through the SB 125 Formula-Based Transit and Intercity Rail Capital Program and/or Zero Emission Transit Capital Program, as applicable. The project includes eight transit shelters and related passenger amenities at fixed-route transit stops, including benches, passenger information displays, lighting, concrete pads, accessible boarding and waiting areas, sidewalk or path connections, signage, and related site improvements. The selected firm will provide project kickoff, site verification, right-of-way and utility review, ADA/accessibility analysis, shelter layout and site design, foundation and installation details, drainage and grading, permitting, plans, specifications and estimates, public-works bid-package preparation, bid and procurement support, construction administration, submittal and shop-drawing review, RFI and change-order review, field observation, punch-list and final inspection, and project closeout. The firm must demonstrate relevant experience with transit shelters or similar small public-works projects, public bidding, construction administration, state-funded or grant-funded transportation projects, and project documentation, reporting, reimbursement, and audit support. Qualifications are evaluated on a 100-point basis, with project experience and staffing/work plan receiving the greatest weight; cost is excluded from the initial qualifications ranking and may be requested later from the highest-ranked firm.
