Description
The Georgia Department of Agriculture is soliciting a qualified supplier to provide ongoing landscaping services at the Atlanta State Farmers Market and Produce Terminal. The scope includes weekly turf cutting, edging, weed eating, debris removal, pruning, quarterly weed treatment and herbicide applications, maintenance of fence lines and hardscaped areas, and monthly inspections with written reports. The supplier must perform to Level 3 Association of Physical Plant Administrators grounds standards and provide all supervision, personnel, materials, equipment, machinery, and related costs. The supplier must have at least five consecutive years of similar landscaping experience and hold a Georgia Department of Agriculture Commercial Applicator License for pesticide application. Additional services may include irrigation repairs, plantings, tree removal, storm cleanup, parking-lot sweeping, and pressure washing. All workers must be employed by the supplier rather than subcontractors. The initial contract runs from award through June 30 of the current fiscal year, with four one-year renewal options at the State Entity's discretion.
