Description
The City of Lake Elsinore is soliciting proposals for two complete modular floating work platforms to support containerized nanobubble treatment systems in a freshwater lake. Each platform is expected to be approximately 40 by 60 feet and assembled from approximately six modular barge sections, with reasonable dimensional variations permitted to accommodate standard modules and the required equipment layout. The scope includes marine and structural engineering; flotation, stability, freeboard, load distribution, anchoring and spud wells; safe personnel access; deck and piping supports; crane loading, launch, assembly, service, and removal provisions; final drawings and engineering documentation; a dedicated spud raising, lowering, holding, and securing system; and an intake-screen lifting winch or hoist on each platform. Proposals must address platform specifications, structural calculations and loads, spud and intake-lifting systems, coating and warranty information, fabrication and delivery schedules, crane and assembly requirements, costs, qualifications, and relevant experience. The proposal package is limited to 25 pages, uses a minimum 12-point font, and includes a separate digital cost proposal through the electronic bid portal.
