Description
The Louisville and Jefferson County Metropolitan Sewer District is soliciting bids for repairs at the 400 Shelby Station basin. The work includes replacement of 15-inch, 24-inch, and 42-inch pipes; benching the upstream face of the earthen embankment; installing a 2-foot compacted clay liner; streambank stabilization; instream stability structures; stream habitat and riparian enhancements; and related work described in the contract documents. Substantially operational performance is required within 150 calendar days after notice to proceed, substantial completion within 180 calendar days, and final completion within 210 calendar days. The bid package must include the required signed and notarized bid forms, bid bond, SBE Goal Compliance Plan, and acknowledgment of Addendum No. 1. The project is subject to the MSD Small Business Enterprise Economic Inclusion Program, including a 35% construction subcontracting goal for qualifying contracts. A mandatory pre-bid meeting was held, and questions or clarifications must be submitted in writing to the MSD project manager.
