Description
The Florida Department of Transportation is soliciting bids for employment services supporting bridge maintenance operations. The vendor must supply maintenance technicians on a full-time or part-time basis, as needed, and may be asked to provide other positions required by management. Services will support bridge maintenance offices in Lake City and Jacksonville. The initial contract term is one year, with the option for three one-year renewals. The vendor will recruit and screen candidates, perform required background checks before interviews, provide training needed to meet position requirements, manage employee benefits and holiday pay, verify driving histories, and administer timesheets and monthly invoicing. The initial listed classification is an entry-level maintenance technician requiring a valid Class E driver's license, with a stated salary range of $19.00 to $26.00 per hour; bidders submit a percentage markup.
