Description
The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is soliciting competitive bids for approximately 2,280 tons of FDOT-approved crushed shell road base material for road improvements within Charles H. Bronson State Forest. The material must be free of trash, debris, and foreign matter and should come from pits free of exotic plant species. The awarded vendor must deliver the material to the specified forest location no later than 14 business days after receipt of the executed purchase order, during weekday business hours. Delivery pricing must be included in the firm fixed unit price, and the vendor must provide haul tickets showing load weight and delivery date, conduct an on-site meeting with the local Florida Forest Service representative before delivery begins, and deliver at least 15 loads per day until completion. The solicitation anticipates a single award based on the lowest responsive and responsible grand total price.
