Description
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration seeks one quasi-elastic light scattering (QELS) dynamic light scattering detector for integration with an existing field-flow fractionation and multi-angle light scattering system. The detector must provide real-time hydrodynamic-radius measurements, operate inline with field-flow fractionation, measure approximately 10 nm to 1,000 nm, correlate molecular-weight and hydrodynamic-size data, and produce audit-trail-compliant outputs suitable for regulatory and scientific use. Required equipment includes the detector, cables, connectors, mounting hardware, software licensing, installation files, manuals, technical specifications, and standard operating procedure templates. The scope also includes on-site installation, integration testing, instrument installation and operational qualification, performance qualification, staff training, technical support, software updates, preventive maintenance, and assistance with data analysis and method development. Delivery, installation, qualification, and training are required within 120 days after award; the period of performance is 12 months from system installation. The procurement is a firm-fixed-price, lowest-priced technically acceptable requirement under full and open competition.
