Description
The Maryland Environmental Service seeks a Maryland-licensed retail natural gas supply firm to provide natural gas procurement, transportation management, nominations, scheduling, balancing, and energy management services for Eastern Correctional Institution. The contractor will arrange firm, non-interruptible deliveries to the Eastern Shore Natural Gas Transco City Gate for subsequent delivery to the institution through Chesapeake Utilities, including upstream transportation, storage, capacity release, and related scheduling services. The contractor will procure 100% of the institution’s natural gas commodity requirements, manage changing monthly volumes and supplemental nominations, administer balancing activities, provide operational and emergency contacts, and submit detailed monthly reports and invoices. Commodity, transportation, balancing, and capacity costs will be passed through at actual cost without markup; compensation is limited to the proposed fixed monthly management fee. The contract has a five-year base term with five one-year options. Offerors must demonstrate at least five years of relevant experience, provide references, document market access and supplier eligibility, and submit technical and price proposals with the required affidavits, certifications, license or good-standing documentation, and price form.
