Description
The City of Chelan is requesting statements of qualifications from consulting firms experienced in civil and structural engineering design for approximately 0.51 miles of shared-use pedestrian trail on a separate alignment from US97A/East Woodin Avenue to North Apple Blossom Drive. The selected consultant will prepare preliminary and final engineering design, complete plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E), and develop planning-level and design-level construction cost estimates. The scope includes project management and coordination; roadway and pedestrian facility design, ADA compliance, drainage, traffic control, signing, pavement markings, illumination, and utility coordination; environmental documentation and permitting support; right-of-way research, exhibits, acquisition support, easements, and certification documentation; stakeholder and public engagement; grant and federal compliance documentation; and schedule development. The SOQ must address firm capabilities, relevant project experience, key personnel, subconsultants, project approach, schedule, workload, and ability to manage projects remotely. Submittals are limited to 20 pages, excluding the cover page, cover letter, and dividers, and must be bookmarked and submitted as a PDF under 20 MB.
