Description
Evergreen Elementary School District is soliciting qualifications and proposals from prequalified design-build firms for a comprehensive infrastructure modernization and utility savings program. The anticipated work includes districtwide site assessments; HVAC, ventilation, filtration, LED lighting, building automation, building-envelope, water-conservation, electrification, EV-charging, solar, battery-storage, and other renewable-energy improvements; employee training; remote monitoring; and ongoing support. The selected respondent will help develop scopes of work and funding plans, identify and apply for local, state, and federal funding, and provide turnkey implementation after approval, including permits, engineering, Division of the State Architect requirements, delivery, installation, commissioning, training, warranty service, and measurement and verification of savings. Respondents must provide extensive California K-12 references, current NAESCO accreditation, inclusion on the U.S. Department of Energy Qualified List of Energy Service Companies, an active California general contractor license, at least $10 million in bonding capacity, and required prequalification. Proposals are limited to 30 pages, excluding the table of contents, cover letter, and sample contracts/agreements, and must include the specified background, litigation, references, approach, funding, savings, value-added, contract, pricing, and acknowledgment materials.
