Description
The Bureau of Land Management is soliciting a firm-fixed-price construction contract for removal and replacement of one 1,000-gallon single vault toilet at Goodenough Campground. The work includes mobilization, demolition and legal disposal of the existing vault toilet, procurement and installation of a precast concrete single vault toilet, associated foundation and site work, and an accessible sidewalk-to-floor transition. The replacement unit must be a CXT Cascadian Right Hand or approved equal, include solar-powered interior lighting, ABA-compliant features, and meet specified structural, snow, wind, seismic, and bullet-resistance requirements. The project is a total small-business set-aside with an estimated construction magnitude of $50,000 to $100,000. Quotations will be evaluated for compliance and awarded to one responsible contractor offering the lowest acceptable price. Performance and payment bonds, or permitted alternative payment protection, are required within 10 days after award; the payment protection amount is 100 percent of the contract price. The period of performance is October 1, 2026, through March 30, 2027. Amendment 0001 adds site-visit questions and answers; the solicitation closing date and time remain September 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. MDT.
