Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture seeks a contractor to bring the Tremonton Field Office entrance into compliance with the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design, ICC/ANSI A117.1, and ADAAG. The scope includes assessment, design drawings and specifications, procurement of doors, hardware, thresholds, closers, operators, and signage, removal of existing components, installation of compliant assemblies, testing, verification, and closeout documentation. The quote worksheet identifies two low-profile, low-energy door operators with push pads and transmitters/receivers, plus labor for installation and training, shipping and handling, travel, and electrical operations. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, and incidentals. The anticipated period of performance is eight weeks after award, with installation labor expected to take one day; the requirement magnitude is less than $25,000. Deliverables include assessment and compliance reports, as-built documentation, maintenance materials, warranties, and closeout materials.
