AMENDED NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR PUBLIC WORKS CONSTRUCTION FOR A NEW WATER / MAINTENANCE SHOP FOR THE CITY OF BLACKFOOT This Amended Notice is extending the time limit for submission of proposals. The City of Blackfoot seeks to procure qualified public works construction for a new water / maintenance shop to be located at 880 Mitchell Lane, Blackfoot, Idaho. In accordance with the terms and conditions of a final contract, the project shall consist of at least the following: 1. An engineered steel building that is 150 feet by 100 feet, with at least: a. Four16x16 overhead doors, nine man doors and eight windows b. Concrete and footings to withstand heavy equipment traffic with a 1' tall concrete curb c. Concrete portion of bid to include all excavation, grading and compaction required d. Concrete floor portion not to include rough-in plumbing, but does include associated concrete finish work around such plumbing with appropriate drainage e. 2/12 pitch roof f.

Description
The City of Blackfoot is seeking a qualified public works contractor to construct a new 150-by-100-foot engineered steel water and maintenance shop. The scope includes four 16-by-16-foot overhead doors, nine man doors, eight windows, a 2/12-pitch roof, and roof loading for acoustic ceilings and large circulation fans. The project also includes heavy-equipment-rated concrete footings and floors with a one-foot concrete curb, excavation, grading, compaction, concrete finishing around plumbing rough-ins, and appropriate drainage. Construction must comply with the City's commercial building requirements. Proposals must include the contractor's identifying information, licensing information, proposed completion timeframe, total bid price, and any other relevant information. Architectural plans and design are available through City Hall or Resin Architecture.
