Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex Florence, is soliciting firm-fixed-price quotations for fresh bread products for the first quarter of fiscal year 2027. The requirements include enriched whole-wheat sliced hot dog buns, whole-wheat sliced hamburger buns, and fresh sliced whole-wheat bread, with quantities specified in the attached spreadsheet. Products must meet the stated Commercial Item Descriptions, BOP National Menu Specifications, applicable food-safety and labeling requirements, and the specified package-size and loaf-size requirements. No specification substitutions will be accepted. The solicitation requires weekly deliveries, with fresh bread delivered within 48 hours after baking, and full delivery completed by December 31, 2026. Deliveries must be palletized unless otherwise arranged, and perishable products must be maintained between 34 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Quotations must include shipping, be submitted using the attached Excel format, and include the vendor's name, Unique Entity ID, phone number, email address, and pricing. Past performance will be evaluated approximately equally with price, and handwritten bids will be rejected.
