Description
The U.S. Geological Survey's Colorado Water Science Center is seeking a contractor to provide all labor, supervision, equipment, travel, and materials necessary to custom-build one mobile field laboratory van. The government-furnished vehicle is a 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 cargo van, and the completed mobile laboratory must be delivered, installed, commissioned, and operational no later than March 31, 2027. The build-out includes custom cabinetry and countertops, adjustable shelving, partitions and access doors, two resin sinks with shutoff valves and exterior drains, LED and 110-volt/12-volt electrical outlets, interior and exterior lighting, insulated wall and ceiling panels, industrial rubber flooring, a 2,000-watt inverter and converter with two deep-cycle batteries, two 100-watt solar panels with regulator and control panel, marker and flood lights, and two windows. Quotations must include technical brochures or specifications demonstrating compliance with the minimum requirements and must be submitted by email with the completed SF-18, Attachment 2 Wage Determination, SAM.gov UEI number, point-of-contact information, and specified FAR provision fill-ins.
