Description
America's Central Port is seeking a contractor for the P26-LAND-02 Bissell & E Street Lot Clearing project, covering approximately 22.2 acres of disturbed area. The work includes removing standing trees, stumps, roots, and brush piles; hauling or permitted burning of debris; backfilling depressions; rough and fine grading for stormwater drainage; and grass seeding or hydroseeding for erosion stabilization. The contractor must provide labor, equipment, materials, supervision, safety measures, permits as applicable, utility locating, and NPDES stormwater-pollution-prevention compliance. Substantial completion is required by January 15, 2027, with final completion by February 19, 2027. Prevailing wage rates and a Project Labor Agreement with the Southwestern Illinois Building Trades Council are required. A 10% bid bond is required, and performance and payment bonds of 100% of the contract price are required after award.
