Description
The City of West Des Moines is soliciting proposals from firms previously qualified through an RFQ to provide Construction Manager at Risk services for the reconstruction of Fire & EMS Station No. 21. The scope includes preconstruction services and construction-phase services, with proposers required to submit a CMaR service fee percentage, performance/payment/maintenance bond percentage, and billable hourly rates for specified project staff positions. The proposal must include a signed transmittal letter and pricing and staffing information entered through the online procurement portal. Evaluation will consider the fee proposal, previously submitted qualifications, and interviews. The estimated construction budget is $12,700,000, with an estimated 24-week preconstruction phase and 78-week construction phase; the City intends to negotiate preconstruction services and a Guaranteed Maximum Price contract with the selected firm.
