Description
SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University seeks a qualified vendor to provide language services for patients with limited English proficiency. The requested capabilities include phone and video interpretation, in-person interpretation, certified American Sign Language interpretation and ASL video interpretation, a translation platform and portal, secure HIPAA-compliant connections, and the ability to provide services 24/7/365. The RFP also calls for the vendor to support qualification of bilingual employees to provide language services. Proposals are evaluated on mandatory requirements, technical qualifications and references, and cost. The solicitation states an anticipated five-year contract term.
