Description
The Regional Center Partnership of Somerset County is seeking consultant support to develop a shared vision for the Regional Center through a collaborative planning, public engagement, and charette process. The work covers the Boroughs of Raritan and Somerville and portions of Bridgewater Township, and must build upon prior regional visioning, pedestrian, bicycle, trail, and greenways planning efforts. The selected consultant will manage the project; assess existing conditions and opportunity areas; prepare mapping and engagement materials; develop an outreach strategy; facilitate one stakeholder working session and one public visioning session/charette; document public input; and prepare a visually engaging final report. The report must include a shared vision, guiding principles, conceptual recommendations, up to three priority opportunity-area analyses, a project and initiatives matrix, implementation considerations, and recommended next steps. Deliverables include project schedules, progress reports, meeting materials, memoranda, draft and final reports, a presentation, twelve printed copies, and digital project files including GIS databases and shapefiles. Proposals must include qualifications, key personnel, three similar-project references, subcontractor information if applicable, a project plan and timeline, pricing by task and staff member, and the required statutory forms and certifications.
