Description
The City of Minot is soliciting bids for one manufacturer's newest and latest model four-wheel-drive, three-quarter-ton extended-cab pickup for its Water/Sewer Department. The vehicle must have an eight-cylinder gasoline engine producing at least 385 horsepower, a minimum 2,600-pound payload and 8,800-pound GVW, automatic heavy-duty transmission, trailer-tow package, backup camera, standard comfort and safety equipment, white exterior paint, a minimum three-year/36,000-mile manufacturer's warranty, and repair, parts, and electrical manuals with diagnostic cables and software. The pickup must be supplied without a standard box and fitted with a BrandFX 56 LS Series service body, or an equivalent, including fiberglass construction, multiple adjustable-shelf compartments and drawers, aluminum components, lighting, wiring, and a hydraulic liftgate with a 1,300-pound capacity and specified safety and electrical features. The successful bidder must submit an itemized order sheet for written approval before ordering the vehicle and deliver the completed unit to the Minot Public Works Building. The attached bid proposal form must be used, and bids are evaluated on the lowest and best bid.
