Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture seeks a contractor to remove and dispose of existing barbed-wire fencing, wooden and steel posts, bracing, gates, and related debris, then install replacement perimeter and interior fencing. The base bid includes approximately 6,775 linear feet of six-wire barbed-wire fencing and one 16-foot heavy-duty six-bar tubular gate, with 14 separately priced add alternates covering additional perimeter and interior fencing and gates. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision. Requirements include specified Red Brand 12.5-gauge wire, treated wooden posts, heavy-duty steel T-posts, bracing, gate hardware, site cleanup, vegetation clearing, disposal, and restoration of disturbed areas. Offerors must submit technical and price information, including pricing for all line items, and demonstrate their ability to meet the schedule and perform the stated requirements. The anticipated contract is firm-fixed-price, with work beginning within 10 calendar days after notice to proceed and completion within 60 calendar days after notice to proceed.
