Description
The City of Minot is soliciting bids for one new, latest-model tandem-axle truck with a heavy-duty steel dump body, hydraulic hoist, hydraulic pump, and associated electrical and safety equipment. The truck must meet detailed chassis requirements, including a minimum 300-horsepower diesel engine, Allison 3000RDS transmission, 58,000-pound minimum gross vehicle weight, specified axles, tires, brakes, cab equipment, pintle hitch, warranty, manuals, and diagnostic software. The completed unit must include a 16-foot dump body, NTEA Class 110 or higher hoist, Force America or approved-equal hydraulic and control systems, Henderson quick hitch and plow-light equipment, LED lighting and strobes, spreader controls for auger, spinner, anti-ice, and prewet functions, and all required hydraulic plumbing and controls. The bidder must complete the provided bid proposal and specification worksheet, identify any deviations, provide a brochure showing minimum specifications, and deliver the mounted and operational unit within 180 days after award. Operating and calibration training must also be provided at no additional cost.
