Center-Stanton Public School District is applying for ESSER III (Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund III) funds to address the impact of COVID-19. The district plans to replace an air handling system to improve outside air circulation, install air cleaners throughout the facility, purchase two school buses for better spacing in transportation, and acquire educational technology including curriculum supports. Additionally, the district will hire two intervention teachers to provide math and reading intervention for elementary, middle, and high school students, addressing learning loss. The total estimated expenditure is $485,337, with $115,000 allocated to learning loss activities.
