Description
The City of Minot is soliciting bids for one new, latest-model truck-mounted hydro-vac machine for its Storm Sewer Department. The unit must combine high-pressure sewer-line cleaning and flushing with air/vacuum pickup of liquids and solids from sewers and catch basins. The required equipment includes a 300-horsepower diesel chassis; a minimum 1,500-gallon water tank; an 80 GPM at 2,000 PSI water pump; a positive-displacement vacuum system; a 10-cubic-yard debris tank with at least 9 cubic yards of usable capacity; a 360-degree, 20-foot intake boom; a 600-foot sewer-hose reel; wireless and operator-station controls; specified hoses, tubes, lights, tools, storage, safety equipment, manuals, diagnostics software, and a manufacturer's standard warranty. Bidders must complete the provided specification and bid worksheets, identify any deviations, provide a dimensional drawing and brochure showing compliance, and state the delivery date. Delivery is required within 180 days after award. The solicitation also includes a five-year or 7,500-hour repair-cost and repurchase arrangement, with a performance bond required at 100% of the guaranteed fifth-year or 7,500-hour repurchase price.
