Description
The City of Nashua is soliciting bids for the installation of reflectorized thermoplastic and reflectorized paint pavement markings, including four-inch and twelve-inch lines, words, symbols, crosswalks, stop lines, directional arrows, pedestrian crossing symbols, and railroad-crossing markings. The scope also includes pavement-marking removal or grinding and maintenance and control of traffic, including required traffic-control equipment, vehicles, flaggers, safety vests, and work-zone measures. Work must comply with applicable New Hampshire Department of Transportation specifications, Section 632 for pavement markings, Section 619 for traffic control, and the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices. Pavement-marking work is generally scheduled between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. unless otherwise directed. Bidders must submit the bid form, five-percent bid bond or equivalent bid guarantee, schedule of values, traffic-control equipment list, references, and any issued addenda. The successful bidder must provide payment and performance bonds, insurance certificates, and endorsements after award and before performance.
