Description
The Town of Fort Mill is soliciting a contractor to remove land-clearing debris from its compost facility on Steele Street. The limb-pile clearing is scheduled four times during the project year: December 2026, March 2027, June 2027, and September 2027. The contractor must also remove additional Public Works debris, based on five truckloads of 26 cubic yards per load per day; keep fire lanes clear; slope the site for proper drainage; follow OSHA requirements; and meet with Public Works officials before and after each job. Each removal must be completed within 10 days of the award date for that work. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, supplies, and equipment, and must maintain automobile liability, general liability, and workers’ compensation insurance. A Town of Fort Mill business license and required permits must be obtained before work begins. The solicitation includes a bid proposal form requiring separate prices for each scheduled removal and an annual total.
