Description
This Sources Sought Notice seeks capable vendors for a planned requirement involving ethically sourced human cadaver specimens, medical equipment rentals, consumable Class VIII medical supplies, refrigerated transportation, logistical support, cadaver-based medical training, and surgical subject matter expert support. The requirement anticipates up to 20 whole-body, non-prosected, perfused cadaveric specimens annually, supporting events involving two to six cadavers, with documented negative testing, chain-of-custody records, donor authorization compliance, and certification by the American Association of Tissue Banks or an equivalent accrediting body. The contractor must support training events of at least two days, provide additional training days as requested, and furnish SMEs capable of leading or supporting trauma and surgical exercises, after-action reviews, mentoring, and specified procedures. SMEs must meet stated medical education, general surgery residency, board-certification, and procedural competency requirements. The anticipated structure is a base period plus four one-year option periods, with workload data identifying 20 cadavers, 10 additional training days, 10 SME-support events, and 10 cadaver medical training-support events in each period. Responses require company and capability information, including a capability statement limited to 10 pages; this notice is for market research and is not a solicitation for bids or proposals.
