Description
This Small Business Sources Sought notice requests capability statements from organizations able to continue the work of the NIDA Center for Genetic Studies and NIH Brain Development Cohorts Biobank, supporting the Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development and HEALthy Brain and Child Development studies. Required capabilities include secure, humidity- and temperature-controlled storage and tracking for at least 3,500,000 biospecimens; chain-of-custody management; sample receipt, processing, distribution, and destruction; collection kits and supplies; SOP development; relational database and auditable LIMS management; clinical-data curation, harmonization, and transfer to controlled-access repositories and data centers; and coordination with NIH data centers, study teams, and Institutes and Centers. The requirement also encompasses molecular biology, cell and tissue culture, clinical, metabolic, hematologic, and other assays; high-throughput genotyping and sequencing; gene-expression analysis; proteomics and metabolomics; advanced genomic and cellular techniques; iPSC and neural stem cell generation; CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing; histopathology; and analysis of RNA and DNA from formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue. Vendors must demonstrate biorepository web-portal development and maintenance, backend infrastructure, APIs, secure data exchange, FISMA-related security compliance, relevant personnel, facilities, equipment, and experience.
