Description
The Nassau County Industrial Development Agency (NCIDA) is soliciting statements of qualifications from firms to provide independent audit and related services for the fiscal years ending December 31, 2026, December 31, 2027, and December 31, 2028. The selected firm will be responsible for preparing annual independent audit reports in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, generally accepted government auditing standards, and applicable standards from the New York State Comptroller's Office. Services will include preparing audit opinions with accompanying financial statements and notes, management letters detailing audit findings and recommendations, reports on internal controls and compliance, and reviews of investments. The contractor will also be responsible for annual federal and state tax reporting and obtaining confirmed financial information for the PARIS report. The final audit report must be delivered within ninety days of the fiscal year end, with a draft report requested by March 15th.
