Description
The California School Finance Authority (CSFA) is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) No. CSFA02-26 for accounting services. The primary objective is to assist with conversion entries to bring CSFA's Budgetary Legal Basis financial statements to GAAP/GASB standards, fulfilling obligations under Government Code sections 5871 and 5872 and meeting the Office of the State Controller's minimum auditing requirements. The selected firm will be responsible for preparing a detailed reconciliation workbook, identifying and documenting necessary adjusting journal entries, and presenting final adjusted governmental fund balances in compliance with GAAP/GASB standards. The scope of work also includes preparing conversion entries for financial reporting under GASB 34/103, assisting in the review of the Management Discussion and Analysis letter, providing general accounting advice, and offering guidance on current and new GASB standards. The anticipated contract term is two years with a one-year option to renew, beginning August 1, 2026. The maximum annual compensation is $15,000, with a total potential contract value of $45,000 over the full term. Proposals are due by 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time on July 10, 2026.
