Description
This solicitation is for HVAC duct cleaning services at the U.S. Forest Service Supervisor Office located at 605 West Main St., Russellville, AR 72801. The contractor will be responsible for cleaning 12 HVAC units, including removing and reinstalling supply and return registers, establishing negative air pressure with HEPA filters, cleaning critical HVAC components like blower motors, evaporator coils, and plenums, and mechanically scrubbing all ductwork. Any ductwork showing signs of mold will be treated with Sporicidin antifungal disinfectant or an approved equal. Project coordination requires notifying the Contracting Officers Representative (COR) five days prior to the start of work. The cleaning schedule will be coordinated with the COR to minimize disruption to daily operations, with potential for weekend cleaning. The contractor must ensure the safety of the public and employees during the work. Adherence to the National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) standards for HVAC system cleaning is required, and NADCA certification is recommended.
