Description
The Mississippi Department of Corrections is soliciting bids from one or more vendors for a statewide Employee Assistance Program serving approximately 2,000 employees and their eligible immediate family members. Required services include confidential assessment, short-term counseling, referrals, telephonic and virtual consultations, manager consultations, stress-management and resilience training, crisis intervention, critical-incident support, and 24/7 telephone access. The program must support face-to-face, telephonic, and virtual services, provide timely routine appointments, and maintain qualified licensed behavioral-health professionals. The contractor must also provide a secure online portal and iOS and Android mobile application with self-service resources, scheduling, chat, reminders, accessibility features, encryption, secure authentication, and HIPAA-compliant practices. Additional requirements include work-life resources, outreach and orientation materials, supervisory training materials, aggregate utilization reports and analytics, referral services, and compliance with applicable accessibility, privacy, professional, state, and federal requirements. The anticipated contract is a one-year term with two optional two-year renewals.
