Description
Homestead Water Association requests qualifications and proposals from engineering firms or individuals to support projects funded through the Mississippi Department of Health Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Fund. The selected engineer will provide services through project closeout and comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and policies. The scope includes preparing preliminary engineering reports and cost estimates for applications; preparing plans and specifications; distributing bid documents; assisting with bid openings, bid tabulation, and construction-contract execution; conducting pre-construction conferences; and performing construction inspection, including periodic reports and approval of payment requests. Proposals will be evaluated on qualifications, experience, and capacity for performance. The contract will be fixed-price, subject to program funding and removal of environmental conditions, with an individual contract executed for each awarded project.
