Description
The project involves targeted repairs to existing storefront windows at Parks Hall's Student Union, including removing and replacing scheduled insulated glazing units, exterior backer rod and sealant joints, and specified gaskets. Replacement glass and coatings must match existing conditions; an in-situ mock-up is required. An additive alternate covers replacement of additional glazing units. Testing Center window work must be scheduled during academic breaks, with the specified glass replacement period from March 22 to April 2, 2027. Bidders submit pricing through the online bid table and provide the required bid guarantee when applicable. The solicitation also requires a Wage Theft Prevention Form, Bidder Compliance Form, and bid guarantee; the online questionnaire and bid table must be completed. Supplemental responsibility criteria require the bidder and proposed project manager and superintendent to document at least three similar projects each, with each project valued at $500,000 or more and completed within the past five years. The estimated bid cost range is $75,000 to $215,000. Voluntary diverse-business participation goals are stated, but no minimum participation level is required.
