Description
Spring Branch Independent School District is soliciting a turnkey wireless infrastructure upgrade for all district facilities. The scope includes design and installation of new Wi-Fi 7 access points supporting 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz operation; centralized configuration, monitoring, analytics, security, firmware, and lifecycle-management software; required gateways or controllers; licensing and subscriptions; removal and delivery of existing equipment; a pilot deployment; coverage and throughput validation; training; and five-year hardware and software support. Aruba AP-735, AP-755, AP-765, or AP-764 equipment is preferred, but functionally equivalent equipment will be considered. The project also includes structured Category 6A and fiber-optic cabling, equipment cabinets, patch panels, cable pathways, testing, labeling, documentation, as-built drawings, warranties, and related installation materials. Classroom work must occur after school hours, and the project is expected to be completed within 180 days after written notice to proceed unless otherwise approved. Proposals must include an implementation schedule, master service agreement, terms and conditions, testing procedures, service-level guarantees, equipment lists, and the vendor's E-Rate program information, including a valid SPIN. The district may proceed with all or part of the project depending on E-Rate funding and may voluntarily renew awarded contracts for up to two consecutive one-year terms.
