Description
The City seeks non-exclusive, on-call services for plumbing, electrical work, general labor, and minor remodeling to address damage from City operations, emergencies, and maintenance needs. Work may include water, sewer, and gas line repairs; leak detection; plumbing fixture installation; electrical system repairs and maintenance; and carpentry, drywall, concrete, paving, masonry, and painting. Assignments are issued as needed, with the City providing the scope and location details and issuing purchase orders before work begins. Plumbing services require 24-hour availability, at least two qualified employees available year-round, a one-hour emergency response, and arrival on site within two hours. Remodeling emergency work requires a one-hour response and arrival within four hours. Proposals are evaluated on best value, including price, small-business participation, ability to meet the City's needs, qualifications and experience, and equipment and parts. The solicitation sets a 30% small-business participation goal. The agreement template provides for an initial one-year term with up to four one-year renewals.
