Description
Tarrant Regional Water District is soliciting proposals to replace a large-diameter pressure pipeline. The work includes welded steel pipe and appurtenance installation using open-cut and trenchless methods, along with associated construction activities such as trench safety, ancillary work, and cleanup. The proposal pricing exhibit includes base contract work, an alternate, allowances, and extra-work items. Proposers must submit a detailed qualifications statement covering project approach, cost and schedule management, relevant project experience, financial stability, safety, claims history, and key personnel. At least five similar projects involving pressure pipelines of 72 inches or larger, including open-cut and trenchless installation, are required. The package also requires a proposal, pricing exhibit, bid bond, specified compliance questionnaires and affidavits, and Form 1295. The proposal states that insurance will be provided if the project is awarded.
