Description
Tarrant County seeks bids for preventive maintenance, repair services, and the supply of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) equipment for four county facilities. The work includes quarterly, six-month, and annual inspections, equipment testing and cleaning, software updates as needed, and repairs requested and approved by the County. Contractors must be able to respond to service calls within four hours and use manufacturer-authorized technicians; at least one responding technician must have five years of UPS experience. The County may award primary, secondary, and alternate positions. The agreement has an initial 12-month term and may be renewed for two additional 12-month periods. Preventive maintenance labor rates must include associated fees, while repair labor rates must also be fully loaded; repair parts and materials are reimbursed under the stated pricing terms. Payment bonds are required for jobs of $25,000 or more, and performance bonds for jobs of $100,000 or more. Subcontracting requires prior written County approval.
