Description
The Brown County Area Plan Commission, in cooperation with the Brown County Board of Commissioners, seeks a consultant to amend the current revised draft Comprehensive Plan and incorporate revisions to the County’s 2011 plan. Work includes reviewing existing plans and studies; assessing demographic, economic, infrastructure, environmental, and land-use conditions; and developing a countywide vision, future land-use and infrastructure strategies, and an objective framework for evaluating zoning and development decisions. The consultant will conduct stakeholder engagement and at least one public workshop in each of four townships, including public education on zoning and land-use processes. Deliverables include engagement and assessment reports, planning and zoning education materials, a future land-use map, decision criteria, draft and final plan documents, an executive summary, editable Word files, PDFs, and applicable GIS data. Proposals are limited to 20 pages, excluding resumes, references, project examples, and appendices, and must include at least three project references. The project schedule is estimated at 13 months, with phases beginning after consultant selection and contract execution.
