Description
The City of Summit is seeking qualifications from firms to provide planning services to the City during 2027. The selected firm or firms may be appointed as planning consultants, but appointment does not guarantee work or compensation; individual projects and their compensation will be approved on an as-needed basis by governing-body resolution and/or professional services contract. Hourly rates may not exceed the stated caps: Partner, $155; Associate, $145; Project Planner, $120; and Draft Person, $95. The RFQ also specifies reimbursement for certain actual out-of-pocket expenses and excludes travel-related expenses. Respondents must provide administrative and professional qualifications, including organizational and ownership information, relevant experience, at least two references, an explanation of their understanding of the City's needs, and the services they would perform directly. The submission must also include an executive summary and executed Letters of Qualification and Intent, plus the executed Payment Conditions and Rate Schedules Form and a copy of the firm's New Jersey Business Registration Certificate.
