Description
The City is seeking a contractor to replace existing traffic signal equipment and construct intersection improvements at 3rd Street and South Woodlawn Avenue and at 3rd Street and South Hawthorne Drive. Work includes new signal structures and equipment, accessible pedestrian signals, traffic detection, curb ramps and sidewalks, pavement milling and resurfacing, pavement markings, traffic control, erosion control, and restoration. The contractor must coordinate with transit services and utilities, maintain pedestrian access during construction, and submit required shop drawings, mix designs, and other construction submittals for approval. The work is to begin May 10, 2027, and be completed within 75 calendar days.
