Description
The Abilene Housing Authority is soliciting sealed bids from qualified, licensed, and insured contractors to construct one covered pergola on the existing concrete patio adjacent to the Deegan Apartments Community Building. The work includes mobilization, site verification, protection of adjacent property, structural anchors and foundation connections, framing members, cedar wood components, decorative brackets and trim, roofing, flashing, shingles, fasteners, hardware, debris removal, housekeeping, final cleaning, punch-list corrections, warranties, closeout documents, and as-built markups. Contractors must provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, permits, inspections, transportation, and incidentals. The bid package must include the completed Form of Bid, HUD Form 5369-A, a bid bond if the proposed fee exceeds $100,000, the Bid Price Sheet, required licenses and registrations, a one-page Construction Approach, the Profile of Firm Form, client information and references, required certifications and forms, and the other listed forms and statements. The bid must be uploaded as a PDF through the online submission form. The successful contractor must complete the work within 180 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed and must furnish the required performance and payment assurance after award. Addendum #1 is titled “New Community Pergola Construction - Deegan Senior Apartments - Addendum #1.”
