Description
The City of Abilene is soliciting bids for the First Pressure Plane project, which includes construction of a 2.0-million-gallon elevated storage tank. The project also includes demolition of existing concrete tanks and placement of select fill where the tanks are removed. Addendum No. 3 permits the contractor to crush demolished concrete onsite and reuse it as fill, provided all steel reinforcing bar is removed before reuse and a 12-inch layer of select fill is placed over the crushed concrete. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of the addendum by signing and returning it with the bid.
