Description
NASA's Johnson Space Center is conducting market research for the future design, fabrication, testing, delivery, and installation of single-unit, multi-unit, or modular controlled-atmosphere glovebox systems for an astromaterials curation facility. The systems will support processing, storage, and curation of lunar and planetary samples, including future Artemis-related returns, and are expected to follow applicable American Glovebox Society guidelines. This amendment announces a virtual Industry Day on September 16, 2026, and optional virtual one-on-one meetings on September 16–17, 2026. Interested parties must RSVP by September 15, 2026, at noon Central Time. The notice expressly states that it is not a request for proposals and that no proposals should be submitted. RSVP requests must identify the company, primary contact, SAM UEI, interest in the public interested-parties list, and, if applicable, the requested one-on-one attendees and their contact information. The future procurement may involve small-business participation or subcontracting goals and potential organizational-conflict-of-interest mitigation.
