Description
The City of Yuma is soliciting bids for the purchase and delivery of newly manufactured, packaged pistol and rifle ammunition. Required items include specified 9mm ammunition—124-grain TMJ, JHP, and FMJ—and .223 ammunition—62-grain GDSP and 55-grain FMJ. The specifications identify allowable brands and models, and the solicitation states that alternate ammunition will not be accepted. The bidder must be authorized to distribute ammunition within Arizona, provide delivery time in the online bid table, and deliver freight prepaid FOB destination. Quantities are estimates and may be adjusted based on the department's budget. The procurement is described as a one-time purchase, with possible additional purchases during the following six months; multiple bidders may be awarded by item.
