Description
The Town of Marana is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from a design-build contractor to deliver a complete, turnkey Water Department field office at the specified project site. The scope includes design, engineering, permitting, utility coordination, procurement, fabrication or construction, delivery, installation, testing, warranty coverage, and project closeout for an approximately 5,600-square-foot single-story prefabricated or modular office building. Other cost-effective construction methods may be proposed. The project also includes associated parking, accessibility features, utilities, drainage, lighting, site improvements, and demolition and removal of an existing approximately 840-square-foot building and double-wide trailer. Respondents must provide qualifications, relevant design-build experience, a project approach, preliminary schedule, quality and safety plans, risk-management information, and a separate subcontractor selection plan. The solicitation states that one contract is intended for the most qualified contractor and requires payment and performance bonds at 100% of the construction-phase cost after award.
