Hamtramck Public Schools is soliciting bids for replacement of the entry doors at the Hamtramck Community Center. Bids must be submitted on the forms provided in a sealed envelope and mailed or delivered to the designated construction manager’s office. A non-mandatory prebid walk-through is scheduled at the community center. The project is not tax exempt, and prevailing wage rates do not apply. A 5% bid security is required. Performance and payment bonds may be required for bid categories exceeding $50,000; when required, the bonds must equal the contract amount and be issued by an authorized surety meeting the stated qualification requirements. Each bid must also include a sworn and notarized familial-relationship disclosure and a signed Iran Economic Sanctions Affidavit.
