Description
The City of Olympia, Washington is soliciting sealed bids for the construction of Yelm Highway Community Park Phase 1. The project includes site preparation (mobilization, clearing, and grading), parking and roadway work (paved and gravel parking lots, construction of 57th Ave SE, improvements to Wiggins Road and Yelm Hwy), site improvements (restroom, prefabricated picnic shelter, circulation pathways, kiosks, site furnishings, landscaping, and irrigation), installation of playground equipment (procured by the City) and fall protection surfacing, construction of a dog park, installation of sport courts (one infilled synthetic turf field, 13 pickleball courts, 2 basketball courts, a soccer mini pitch, and an interactive play feature), utility work (power, sewer, stormwater, water), and construction of a maintenance yard and buildings. The Engineer's Probable Opinion of Cost ranges from $20,000,000 to $30,000,000. Bids must be submitted on the provided forms and accompanied by a bid bond or certified check for at least 5% of the total bid amount. A mandatory on-site pre-bid meeting is required for bidders.
