Description
This opportunity is for the repair of asphalt road at Centennial Drive near Lawrence Hall of Science. The scope of work includes milling and overlaying approximately 475 linear feet of asphalt road. This involves providing protection for the site and utilities, and implementing traffic control measures. The contractor will remove the top layer of asphalt, furnish and install tack oil, and prepare the site for new asphalt. Approximately 2.5 inches of asphalt, specifically Type A 1/2" medium HMA, will be installed, achieving a minimum of 95% compaction after installation. The project also requires providing all necessary thermoplastic markings to match existing ones and ensuring positive surface drainage. Finally, the contractor will be responsible for site cleanup. The estimated construction cost for this project is $200,000.00.
