Description
The City of Hesperia is soliciting qualifications for on-call geotechnical engineering and materials testing services. This is a request for qualifications (RFQ) for a three-year contract, with the possibility of two additional one-year renewals, for a total maximum term of five years. The selected firm(s) will be responsible for providing these services as needed for various city projects, which may include pipeline replacement, street improvements, and other capital projects. Services will be coordinated through task orders and purchase orders with an "not to exceed" cost for each project. Consultants must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) and must possess a current Geotechnical Engineering license issued by the State of California. A minimum of five years of demonstrated experience in geotechnical engineering is required, along with proven experience performing such services for government agencies. The selected firm(s) will be required to enter into a contract with the City.
